Odisha Police is committed towards a better, quicker and more transparent services to the Citizens. Under the National e-governance plan, Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) Project is an effort to modernize the Police and make it more accountable and responsive to the Citizens. Accordingly an online web application “Citizen Portal” has been launched on 9th July 2014, wherein the Citizens can submit online complaints and grievances to the Police Department through this portal. Further the Citizens can track the status of complaints registered, requests made for different services and know the details of the actions taken by Police Department online. Citizens can also view reports on unclaimed/ recovered vehicles, properties and missing persons.
